New Site Launch: Behind the Words

Happy Monday everyone! This is an especially joyous Monday because today we’re launching our new writer’s site Behind the Words.
What is Behind the Words? Like everything else we do at Blue Sun Studio, this site is more than a fan site. We didn’t want it to be all about us. Sure, it’s nice to have you all sing our praises and hear how much you like the series, but there’s so much more!
So many up and coming writers have yet to come out from behind the keyboard and into the light of day. I can’t tell you the number of times we hear “I wish I could get my novel written” or “I want to be a writer, but I don’t know where to start!”, and a host of other self-imposed road blocks budding authors throw up for themselves.
We’ve been there too. We know.We’re not all that different from you. We have the same hopes and fears, but you know what? We’ve learned how to step past that. And how did we do it? One simple answer: Teamwork.
By nature, writers and most creative people are loners. This has nothing to do with socializing. Many of the creative people I know are extremely gregarious. But when it comes to the work they hold near and dear to their hearts? They turn into shy wallflowers, wondering if what they create will be acceptable, if it will be met with great praise or *gasp* disdain.
Behind the Words is the first step in getting you out there. We will offer tips and information about the writing and publishing industry — and of course news on the release of Loyalties. We hope to foster a tight-knit community where you feel comfortable enough to share your projects and share what you’ve learned with your fellow authors.
On Behind the Words, you’ll start to learn the value of networking and the freedom that comes with the support of others just like you standing at your back.
The Pack is everything, people, and this one is yours. Get ready to begin your own adventure into the Shadowland of storytelling through the written word, you’re in for some interesting times.
